Is the animal behaving abnormally? Is the animal sluggish? Is it off feed? |

Does the animal gape its mouth most of the time? does it expel air forcefully? Is there mucus around the edges of the mouth or nostrils? |

Mouth area: |

Does the mouth appear swollen along the edges? Is food accumulated along the edges? Are there apparent lumps? |

Eyes: |
| |
Eyes don't appear alert? Any swelling of the eyelids? |
| |

Overall body: |
| |
Any signs of cuts and swelling? Any skin disease, lumps, brown skin areas? limbs swollen? Paralysis or in activity? |

Hands and feet: |
| |
Any swollen toes? Remains of shed skin? |
| |
|
 |
Stools: |
| |
Any watery stools? Any blood in the stool? Any stains or smeared feces around the vent? Is the vent swollen? |
If you answered yes to anything above, you should seek a veterinarian to examine your iguana.
