
the unique jewels of the gecko world. There are several reasons why they have a following similar to poison dart frogs with amphibian enthusiasts. First of these is, as the name indicates, they are diurnal. Day geckos are also vividly patterned. They may have any or nearly all of the colors - red, blue, green, yellow, black, white, and brown. Day geckos also display unique behaviors never documented in other geckos. If cared for correctly, day geckos make fascinating enclosure pets, similar to tropical fish or salt water tanks.
