My name is Gary James Benthin. I was born in Cleveland Ohio. I have lived several places. I lived in Cleveland for a little while (don't remember it at all). My family moved to Indianapolis where I lived till about the time for me to start school. We then moved up by Michigan City, In. Where I started school. My mom and dad divorced about when I was in 2nd grade. We then moved to Richmond, In. Where my mom and dad started to get back together. I went to school there from 3rd grade through starting college. I then moved to Indianapolis, In. Where I got a job working for Target Warehouse. It was an ok job. But obviously not what one would want to do with their life. I got lucky enough to not have to do all the physical work. I then got this job with a pretty cool small company. It's headquarters are in Melbourne, Fl. I was moved down for 6 months for training to be one of their Field Service Engineers. I then was moved to Colorado Springs, Co. Colorado Springs was a cool place to live, but snow and I don't mix. So I was there travelling around just about every week, and they finally decided to move me to Las Vegas. So two years after being in Colorado Springs, I was finally moving to some place warm! I lived in Las Vegas for about a month, and got a call, asking if I would be interested to moving to the Headquarters. To which I said sure, if I could have a few months to prepare for it. So 6 months after that, I moved to florida. Where I was still one of the Field Service Engineers. A few months after moving to Florida, I applied for an office job at the same company. Not to sure what my chances were, I was hopeful I would get the posistion. The posistion is a very technical one, and one that requires a good understanding of Computers, Networks, and HL7 (the standard hospitals use to transfer data back and forth between different systems). Well, I got the job. and I've been in the Interfacing Technologies Dept. for a little over 2 years now. Matter of fact, I am now the Interfacing Technologies Manager, so I guess I've done a decent job! Hmmmmm well that's about it for my life.. the very.. very compressed version!
