will eat about ¼ to 1/3 of a cup of mixed fruit and vegetables and 1 tablespoon of protein per night. If you notice all the food is gone the next morning, slowly increase the amount until a little is left in the morning. If you notice your sugar glider getting obese, you will want to cut back on the amount of food, or fat rich foods should be fed in smaller amounts.

Add half of the honey and water mix to the blended eggs and blend. Add the remainder of the honey and water and repeat blending. Add the vitamins and minerals along with half the baby cereal and blend. Add the remaining baby cereal and blend. Blend until the mixture is lump free |
| Some zoos will also use a parrot food (pelleted psittacine) as the core of their sugar gliders diet. Do not use parrot mix (dried fruit and nut mixture). |

You will need to provide a multivitamin and mineral supplement. There are a few to choose from. But you will want to provide a multivitamin supplement formulated for either birds or reptiles. I recommend using Herptivite. Herptivite contains beta-carotine instead of vitamin A. The animals’ body will convert beta-carotine into as much vitamin A as it needs. This will prevent the animal from getting too much vitamin A. The calcium supplement you use will need to have the proper 2:1 calcium to phosphorus ratio. I recommend using Rep-cal. You will want to use ½ tablespoon per pound of food.
