1.) Okay, to make a fog machine first you must get an ultrasonic Humidifier.

2.) Then pull the tank off.
	3.) Underneath the tank is an air intake.
4.) Cover this with aluminum foil. Secure with a rubber band.
	5.) Punch a hole in it 1/2 cm or less.
Takes a little playing to figure out just the right combination, but it works perfect and well worth the effort.
	6.) Makes enough fog to fill a 4' X 4' enclosure in 5 mins, to the point that you can't see inside the enclosure!
Some humidifiers have the spout where the fog comes out lift off. If it does, you can get a corrugated tube to fit the hole and direct the fog to where you want it. If not, you have to figure out how to direct it on your own. Good luck and enjoy the money you just saved instead of buying the little fog maker at the pet store.
