have a scientific name of Litoria caerula. The species name caerula means blue. Although, most wild caught White's are green, captive breed and animals kept in low light conditions, may develop bluish skin.

White's tree frogs have a range of Northern and Eastern Australia, islands in the Torres Straits, New Guinea and New Zealand. They live in a variety of habitats, from dry scrub to tropical rainforests of Australia.

White's tree frogs have been known to live up to 21 years, with most living 10 years.
