
The interest in amphibians in herpetology is growing. It is quickly gaining, and can easily be considered its own specialty. Keeping amphibians requires the skills of keeping reptiles as well as fish. Amphibian enclosures also can be far more impressive and difficult. Requiring a heavily decorated enclosure. They also require a well thought out land and water section. The water section may or may not include other aquatic life. Amphibians usually require much more exacting care and environments. This section is intended to provide the basics in amphibian care. Detailed information on a specific species may be found under the amphibian menu.
